'Rosemary's Baby' - IPA

Born on June 4th 2010

On tap Friday June 4th 2010 at 5pm we have our latest version of a west coast style IPA. This time I changed it up a bit with a load of fresh herbs, spices and orange thrown right in there with the usual boatload of hops.

Rosemary's Baby India Pale Ale is brewed with copious amounts of Chinook and Cascade whole hops then heavily dry-hopped with more of the same. Pummeled with fresh rosemary, ground coriander and Curaçao orange peel this is certainly one of the most delicious and unique IPAs to grace this land (and your buds) so come on down Friday at 5pm for a real and total treat.

Vital Stats:
Gravity - 16.0 P/1.065
Calculated IBU's - 50
Hop Rate - 3.4 lbs/bbl
ABV - 6.9 %
Colour ~ 9 SRM
Malts - Pale Ale, Crystal 30
, Munich, Dextrin (CaraPils), Melanoidin
Hops - Chinook, Cascade
Other - Fresh Rosemary, Coriander, Curaçao orange peel

Just want to say this is delicious! I was a little doubtful it would work going in... but very will done! Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Glad you are enjoying it as much as the rest of us.

When the idea came to me I thought I may have been a little crazy too. Then I ground some coriander, rosemary and hops together to see how the aromatics worked - it was sublime so I went for it.

Cheers
