We may hold back until 7:30 pm to start the first round to allow a bit more time to ingest the mens Gold medal hockey game, or come down a bit earlier and catch the game on one of our screens.

Lupulin Throwdown - Hoppy hour starts this Tuesday so come on down for some serious lupulin therapy on the cheap. Read on....

We're offering up some primetime libations every Tuesday from 5:00pm until close at the Hart & Thistle starting Tuesday February 23rd 2010. We have some fabulous new appetizer offerings plus you'll save $2.00 per glass on our handcrafted brews.

This week we have CAR BOMB - IRA and IRONHEAD - FCS for $3.75/glass tax included, or pair them up with one of these tasty treats for $10.00:

That's right folks, come on down to join us at our 2nd ALL beer trivia night Sunday, Feb. 28th 2010 at 7:30pm. Admission is free.

Our first incarnation of ALL BEER trivia was a total riot so mark your calendars and git yer butt on down here for some fun!

We're located at 1869 Upper Water St, Halifax, NS - inside the Harbourside Market - Historic properties (beside Salty's restaurant). Lots of parking right beside us in the lower level of the Law Courts - or park near the ferry terminal and enjoy the two minute walk.

The second in a series of collaborative brewers dinners held at the Hart and Thistle Gastropub - this time 'round Propeller Brewing Co and the Hart and Thistle have hooked up in a mind-meld and will be tantalizing your palate with fabulous beers paired with an amazing four course dinner prepared for you by Chef Collin Stone and Chef Sean Kettley. This of course will all be enhanced with some fabulous live entertainment!

- Here we have our fortified cream stout infused with nitrogen, Bulleit bourbon, Madagascar vanilla beans, lactose, fresh spearmint and fresh peppermint. It’s a ballsy, thick and creamy full-bodied black brew with rich complex layers of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and fruit with vanilla, oak, leather, mint, licorice and BB Bats all joining the party – decadent.
